Baking Cookies And Cooking Bacon

Wet weather and cold air equals the perfect excuse to whip out the chopping board and pre-heat the oven, and what could be better than a pizza and a side of cookies?

Pizza
What you'll need:
  • A conveniently packaged mix of flour and yeast for the pizza base
  • Some pizza sauce
  • CHEEEEEESE
  • Any type of meat you can find, and
  • A whole lot of patience

Step 1: Take a photo of the ingredients that you have perfectly set out to look appealing

Step 2: Mix the flour and yeast in a bowl with warm water (the packaging had the portions on it), then slap it onto a lightly floured surface, then knead the dough for 50 years (or until the dough makes a transparent window when you stretch it) and leave under a bowl for 10 minutes. Make sure it rises, if it doesn't, start a new batch because it'll be useless.

Step 3: In the event that you do not have the appropriate kitchenware, improvise - for example, a pestle as a rolling pin, or a cake tin as a pizza dish. Roll out the dough evenly until it is slightly bigger than the cake tin pizza dish and place it carefully, in our case, on top some baking paper, but it's better to use oil. Then fold in the edges to make the crust.

Step 4: Dump a cup of pizza sauce in the center and spread evenly. Then add as much meat and cheese that can physically fit onto the pizza as possible.

Step 5: Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the cheese is golden

Step 6: Voila - you now have your pizza. Take lots of pictures of the finished product while it cools, and enjoy!

Cookies

What you'll need (Jacqueline's been baking cookies for a long time now, and I'm not quite sure of all the ingredients - all I can say is that they were yummy):
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon and
  • Lots of love

Step 1: Mix the ingredients and leave to cool in the fridge for 30 minutes

Step 2: Roll out the mixture and carefully cut them with cookie cutters (We had stars and bears and as you can see there is one really fat bear and one really fat star because we were trying to finish the mixture). Place them evenly on some baking paper - if they touch, they'll be together forever

Step 3: Again if you lacking a baking tray, think outside the box - before the picture below we just used cooling racks, most of the bears fell through the gaps and were  sadly decapitated (luckily we actually found a baking tray). Bake for 10-15 minutes in the oven

Step 4: Eat the cookies
