Blaxland Riverside Park

A few weeks ago, our friends gathered for the last time this holiday for a barbecue at Blaxland Riverside Park before we send some of them off interstate to study. It started off with gloomy weather and flooded grass, but as the day progressed and we got to explore the park, the sky seemed to brighten with our moods.

I was amazed at how big the park was - I mean, there were rows of swings on the top of a hill that overlooked the river, and multiple flying foxes, a massive web of ropes and slides on the side of every slope.

Further down from where we were settled, and hidden from view, was the actual river and a small bike rental place. Unfortunately, the place didn't open on weekdays so we weren't able to rent any bikes and ride around to see what was around the river.

Friends :)
Near the end, most of us ended up on the ropes by the water where we made jokes and laughed and talked about what was to come. It was such a calm and beautiful place for all of us to reunite and enjoy ourselves for the last time before we all become preoccupied with uni.
